This is the good-news episode — and energy is where the wins get almost invisible. No new hardware, just intelligence layered on what we've already built: wind farms squeezing out more power without a single new turbine, solar farms patrolled by robots in 44-degree heat, whole neighbourhoods scanned from the air to find the homes bleeding heat.
But this is also the part that gave us pause. The same drones that spot a poorly-insulated house and cut someone's heating bill are also flying over your street, quietly logging which homes leak warmth and which don't. Stephen and Lauren weigh up whether that's a trade worth making — and we'd genuinely like your answer in the comments.
It's not all tidy. But the good here is real.
